Daily Prayer

Prayer is a deeply personal thing, and we can all find differing styles and methods that resonate with us. At Immanuel we want to encourage each other in a thoughtful pattern of life that continually recognizes the presence of God in and around us.

Here’s a few suggested websites that members of our community have found helpful in forming a daily pattern of prayer:

The Anglican Daily Office

Structured and traditional
15-20 minutes

For many of us at Immanuel the Anglican Daily Office helps to provide a devotional pattern that is rich and sustainable. Some good friends of ours at The Trinity Mission provide an online daily prayer that is easy to access. To get straight into it you can access the daily prayers here:

If you'd like to get some information about how to pray along, they have helpful info here: www.thetrinitymission.org/guide
The Trinity Mission

The Pray-as-you-go Podcast

Slightly less structured, Reflective, Traditional
10-15 minutes

This daily podcast from a Jesuit community in the UK uses Ignatian reflective practices to help us be mindful of God in the everyday.
